Bird Hide Repair

The Bird Hide located on Edithvale Road has been repaired and is open again. A dedicated team spent the last four years working out how to fix the hide, getting all the paperwork in order, finding a builder and funding but it has been worth the wait as the repairs have improved the downstairs viewing area.

North Edithvale Wetlands Project

The Friends group has recently completed managing a $52,000 development project (based on recent grant for this purpose) to rehabilitate a large section of the Edithvale wetlands. This project was being managed by Barry Ross, and then Rex Chugg.   Plants for the rehabilitation were sourced from the Carrum Indigenous Nursery.  The photos below show a recent planting of 400 trees with the assistance of Green Corp.
