Edithvale Bottoms north of the RSL memorial cricket ground is currently wader habitat and should be watched for incoming migratory waders this year. Before the long drought it was often a great site for Snipe. Sadly the area has been neglected for years and mowed as would be appropriate for a municipal park, and dogs often are excercised of lead. Its potential for Sharpies is good.
